The Experience
As we gather each Sunday morning, you will receive a warm welcome as we are a friendly group of folks that do enjoy the fellowship of others! Lovely music will fill the sanctuary as we begin and the children of the congregation “chime” in the pastor and weekly lector as we begin our time together. Our service is filled with music, Passing of the Peace where we get up from our seats, a message for “Children of All Ages”, where children are welcome to stay with their families or proceed to Sunday School, scripture readings and a heartfelt sermon with tactical (and sometime tactile, such a sea glass or candle lighting) takeaways to put our faith in action.
We pray collectively for people, our community and world, where we are all welcome to write our prayer requests to be included in prayer time, and lift up those whom are in need or have a joy to share. We sing as a congregation, but the choirs and soloists also share their talents alongside our wonderful music director where traditional hymns are also accompanied by folk songs on acoustical guitar, a brass quintet, and our wonderful Sunday choir where anyone can participate and share in the joy of music. After service, we gather for fellowship in the Parish House and share time together over coffee, snacks and fun filled conversations.
